The availability and use of up-to-date knowledge is increasingly becoming one, it is success factor of companies. However, managing knowledge for a variety of reasons is a difficult undertaking. The HR department has a service function to make the new success-critical knowledge available to the members of the organization through appropriate personnel development concepts and for the organization through appropriate personnel recruitment.
